Prize Support at the Rocky Mountain Open 2024

FLG’s Rocky Mountain Open is March 16th-17th 2024 at the Adams County Fairground and once again features a jam packed weekend of legion action! This year features a 5 round swiss tournament and a 2 round chaos bracket featuring randomized lists on Sunday.

The prize support is once again on fire thanks to our incredible sponsors, and we wanted to highlight some of the goodies available to participants!

Door Prizes

All participants will receive the following just for showing up!

Painting Prizes

  • Beskar Trophies Commemorating Their Achievement

  • Our painting competition is official sponsored by Artis Opus, and the winners will receive a Series D Drybrush Set and a Texture Pallet

Champions and the FLG Achievement Dice

  • Our best in faction players and our undefeated players in the main bracket and the chaos bracket will receive beskar trophies commemorating their victory!

  • Additionally, the top two players in the main event will each receive one of FLG’s new ‘Terrestrial Expanse 6’ x 3’ game mats

  • RMO is also participating in the new FLG achievement dice program! This new program awards players with custom dice for achievements at the convention separate from their success on the battlefield! Per FLG’s Blog Post:

“…there will be 5 different achievements awarded by Frontline Gaming judges. Each game system’s head judge(TO) hands out these dice, and it is up to their discretion as to who gets awarded. While there is a general theme for each achievement, it is ultimately the individual head judges that make the final call on who earns achievement dice and how many they will hand out during their tournament. The 5 initial achievement dice that can be earned are:

Indomitable – Finish the entire tournament by playing in each round, even if you have lost every single game.

Young Gun – Participate in a tournament if you are under the age of 18.

Fluff Bunny – Include extreme elements of lore or have a cohesive theme that your army is based around. Cosplay can be a huge part of this.

Skilled Painter - Have a superbly painted army that stands out from the majority of the event’s participants. This may include making the top cut or showcase at an event, or be purely based off a paint score.

Good Human – Be the best possibly opponent and demonstrate exemplary sportsmanship during the event. This is not limited to just actions taken during games but at the event as a whole.”

Raffle Prizes

All participants who stay until the end on Sunday will be eligible to win raffle prizes! We’ll be randomly selecting players to receive:
